Cancellation Policy
You will be making an advance rent payment on a Vacation Rental. Guanajuato is a small market with few vacation rentals available. In order to insure that both the owner's interests and the guest's interests are best served our cancellation policy is as follows:
Should you cancel the reservation 120 days or more in advance your deposit will be returned less a 500 peso fee and PayPal transaction costs.
Should you cancel the reservation within 120 days of arrival your payments are
refundable subject to the re-renting of the apartment and less a 1000 peso fee
and PayPal transaction costs.
Trip Cancellation and Interruption protection
There are many different types of trip insurance available, but Trip Cancellation and Interruption protection is the most important benefit you should look for. If your trip has to be cancelled for covered reasons such as illness, accident, death of a family member or traveling companion, jury duty, weather conditions which cause delay/ cancellation of travel or fire or flood in your home, this coverage protects your investment and will reimburse the normally non-refundable payments you make for your vacation rental, airline tickets and other covered travel related fees.
If you miss your planned departure for a covered reason, you may also be covered for additional travel expenses to reach your destination.
